Halicarnassus, one of two entrances Myndos Gate West side of Bodrum. To date, only the walls remained. Sponsored by Turkcell, the excavation and restoration work continues.
Alexander the Great entered the city through this gate in M.Ö.333 siege. After a very tough resistance, the city was conquered and destroyed the entire city except for the Mausoleum.
Very nice place to visit to be seen.
